Business Process Mapping and Modelling Course duration: 3 days Business process mapping and modelling is an essential component of Business Process Redesign (BPR) as well as other business process improvement initiatives such as reengineering, systems development, quality management and continuous process improvement. In this course you will acquire the knowledge and skills to map and accurately model business processes at the detailed workflow level as well as the enterprise level. You will learn the Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) and the Integrated Definition for Process Modelling (IDEF0) method. These are open mapping and modelling standards that are used by a number of leading business process modelling tools. They are easy to understand and can be applied to all aspects of business process innovation. These methods facilitate intuitive analysis, creative thinking and the development of IT systems.
This course presents the latest thinking in the analysis, mapping, modelling and improvement of business processes. Practical mapping and modelling work using the methods is done throughout the course.
